The Specialty Food Shop, located in The Hospital for Sick Children, provides products and services to children and adults with special dietary needs. We offer the following specialty products: energy boosting supplements, allergen-friendly foods, gluten- & wheat-free foods, infant feeding supplies, infant formulas, low protein & metabolic products and thickening products.

Our team

The Specialty Food Shop prides itself on being a source of reliable nutrition information.  The shop has registered dietitians on staff who respond to customer inquiries via e-mail, in-store and by phone.  The shop also employs nutrition associates who have nutrition education, a diet technician who dispenses products from Ministry of Health programs and an assistant manager with a degree in food and nutrition.
