Where words fail, art speaks!
This year, in honour of Feeding Tube Awareness Week (Feb. 5 to 9), SickKids’ G Tube Feeding Program team is hosting an art showcase to celebrate the talent and strength of families of children with feeding tubes.
All names who have submitted artwork will be entered into a draw to win a Specialty Food Shop gift card! There will be three winners selected to each win a gift card valued at $100.
The deadline for submissions is Feb. 1, 2024.
Art submissions can be any medium of choice: paintings, drawings, poems, songs...families are encouraged to get creative and show off their talents!
Anyone connected to a SickKids tubie family is welcome to submit artwork — submissions can come from patients, parents, siblings, grandparents, cousins or friends.
The theme for this showcase is spotlighting the uniqueness and strength of the families and children/youth dependent upon tube feeding.
Please submit artwork to feedingtube.awarenessweek@sickkids.ca by Feb. 1 at 11:59 p.m.

For this year's art showcase, the art submissions will be shared at SickKids’ Tubie Family Night on Thursday, Feb. 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Those who submitted artwork are encouraged to attend the event, though it is not required.
