Shipping Policy
Specialty Food Shop ships across Canada through our shipping partner, Purolator.
Most Specialty Food Shop orders are delivered within 3-14 business days, depending on stock availability, and shipping destination.
When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email which will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to track your package(s).
If your order is still within our standard 3 to 14 business day processing and delivery timeframe, we may not be able to respond to order status inquiries.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, size, dimensions, and destination of your order. Please note that not all shipping services are available in all locations.
We currently ship within Canada only. International shipping is not available.
Ontario Metabolic Customers
Customers registered with Specialty Food Shop as Ontario Metabolic Program clients receive free shipping on approved low-protein and metabolic products through Purolator Express or Purolator Ground within Ontario.
If additional shipping charges apply to your order, you will be notified before your order is finalized.
While we strive to maintain accurate inventory levels, products may occasionally become unavailable after an order is placed.
If we become aware of manufacturer backorders, product shortages, or supply chain disruptions that may affect your order, we will notify you via email or phone if this occurs.
If an item cannot be fulfilled, it may be removed from your order and refunded. We will notify you by email or phone if this occurs.
Free In-Store Pick-Up
Free In-Store Pick-Up is available for all products.
Pickup orders are typically ready within 2 to 4 business days. Please wait until you receive an email confirming your order is ready before visiting the store.
If you know your intended pickup date, please include it in the notes section at checkout or email us with your order number and requested pickup date.
Special Orders & Large Orders
Items marked as Special Order (*S/O), and larger orders may take up to 14 business days for delivery or pickup unless otherwise stated in the product description.
Special Order items are ordered directly from our suppliers and are not stocked at our location.
If a Special Order (*S/O) item is affected by a manufacturer's backorder, product shortage, or supply chain delay, we will inform you if this applies to your order.
